🌿 Chalet Truman's Favourite Summer Advice

You don't need to fill every day with activities.

Some of our happiest summer memories are simply walking to the lake for a morning swim, enjoying a leisurely lunch and spending the evening on the terrace watching the light change on the mountains.

The valley rewards slowing down.

A Final Tip

Mountain weather can change quickly, even in summer.

We recommend packing:

  • A lightweight waterproof jacket
  • Walking shoes or trainers with good grip
  • Layers for cooler evenings
  • Sun cream and sunglasses

Even on the warmest days, temperatures can drop quickly once the sun disappears behind the mountains.

Most importantly, slow down and enjoy the surroundings. Chalet Truman sits in one of the most beautiful corners of the Alps and many of our favourite days involve nothing more complicated than a walk to the lake, a good lunch and a glass of wine while admiring the view.
